Biography
Born in Melbourne, Australia to British non-acting parents, I moved to USA in 2001 with my older brother, Andrew (also an actor). I was first noticed by one of the high school teachers attending a performance of The Lion King when I was Nala, (aka the girl with the voice) in elementary school. she was looking for a girl to play the 10 year old lead in her original play and I was 9 and found I could hold my own with my 17 & 18 year old co-stars in the High School play. They still keep in touch with me even now they are away at college.
I continued for two more years with roles written for me and then I was hooked on acting and getting great training from drama coach Georgine Hall( - Broadway, Law & Order, Being There, Mrs. Packard-McCarter Theatre Princeton) and went to join my big brother at McCarter First Stage Theatre Group. As my brother tells it he had to wait for me to learn to speak and walk and then there was no stopping us re-enacting TV shows, movies, sitcoms and generally improvising our own shows. After playing the role of the Evil Queen Bavmorda (Like my brother..we both love to play "Evil" - so much fun) in the stage version of "Willow" will continue this season in Musical theatre training in a
Broadway musical at McCarter's summer festival.(Schoolhouse rock) I hope to get more experience in stage combat. I shall continue auditioning for upcoming plays in local community theatre and my new school's drama club where I just finished the role of the Fairy Godmother in Rogers & Hammerstein's Cinderella. I am going to be involved with Justice Productions Webisode "Two Story Lane series in the next few months.

I see what you mean about your spelling. I don't have that sort of dyslexia I have the hearing sort and my brain doesn't process all that I hear or I can;t remember it. Not affecting learning lines apparently Verity
